Center Head

Job Overview

The Center Head is responsible for the comprehensive management and operational success of the skill development training center. This pivotal role involves strategic planning, operational excellence, team leadership, and stakeholder engagement to ensure the successful implementation of skill development projects and the achievement of organizational placement targets.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Strategic & Operations Management
  • Oversee day-to-day center operations, ensuring adherence to SOPs and compliance guidelines.
  • Plan and execute skill development projects to align with organizational objectives.
  • Manage facility infrastructure, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Manage center budget and financial health.
Team & Training Leadership
  • Supervise and mentor trainers, mobilization teams, and support staff.
  • Monitor training quality, trainee attendance, and assessment outcomes.
  • Ensure trainee discipline, safety, and welfare.
Mobilization & Placements
  • Lead candidate mobilization strategies to meet enrollment targets.
  • Coordinate with placement teams and employers to facilitate candidate placements.
  • Monitor placement success rates and manage post-placement follow-ups.
Reporting & Stakeholder Management
  • Maintain accurate MIS data and generate regular performance reports.
  • Build relationships with government bodies, educational institutions, and local administration.
  • Support audits, inspections, and review meetings.

Qualifications & Required Skills

  • Education: Graduate or Postgraduate in Management, Social Work, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: 3–5 years of managerial experience in Skill Development (e.g., DDUGKY, PMKVY) or Training Operations.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and mentor a diverse team.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Technical: Proficiency in MIS reporting, data analysis, and MS Office.
